Mordechai Alvow is an editorial stylist and the founder of Yarok Haircare, a budding, botanically-based line of restorative hair care.Brilliantly interpreting fashion and trends into uniquely fresh and wearable hairstyles. He has worked with scores of designers, advertisers, photographers and celebrities, his work gracing the pages of Allure, ELLE, InSTYLE, Marie Claire, New York Magazine and VOGUE. Mordechai's celebrity clients include Melania Trump, Naomi Watts and Vanessa Minnillo, to name a few, and his international runway experience includes Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, and Yohji Yamamoto. He brings this runway influence to his salon clients through his technical mastery of cut and color.
Theadora Guzman
Theadora Guzman's passion for hair started at a young age. Her inspiration comes from seeing a great hairstyle accentuate a person's natural beauty, and witnessing their confidence grow. She enjoys learning something new and loves teaching others.For the past five years, Theadora has been an industry educator for eco-friendly, natural haircare, and is a strong advocate for safe, green beauty. She takes a great deal pride educating industry professionals about Yarok Haircare. She has a talent for problem solving hair issues with a great haircut and a proper product collection, rather than abusing the hair and environment with harsh chemical services.

Lisa Marie Natishak
Lisa Marie began her hairstyling career nearly two decades ago in Binghamton, New York. Since moving to Manhattan she has had the opportunity to work with and learn from the best the industry has to offer, adding her flavor to their technique, creating a style of her own. Lisa is known by her clients for taking the time to make certain that every hair is as it should be, whether it's a well- proportioned haircut or perfectly placed hilights. Lisa loves a challenge and enjoys helping clients with corrective situations, in addition to helping clients grow their hair out.Outside the salon, Lisa Marie has styled hair for many New York Fashion Week shows, including, Nicole Miller, Rosa Cha, Patricia Field, and Esteban Cortezar. She has also worked on several magazine make-over stories as well as some television shows.
Lisa's mission as a hairstylist is simply to make every person she encounters feel comfortable, confident and beautiful.
Alyona Ryvkina

Alyona has always had a passion for earthly beauty. She began her work with hair at 14 years old at her home in Odessa, Ukraine. When she moved to New York City, she assisted in the city's top salons, being trained by leading experts in the industry.Her calmness and peaceful energy lends itself to attentive, thorough, and thus exceptional salon service. Moreover she is deeply concerned with the environment, and eager to educate others on sustainable practices, which is why she fits in so well at Yarok. Working at Yarok provides Alyona with a platform that combines her vision for aesthetics and a healthy, organic lifestyle.
Aside from her accomplishments in the organic beauty industry, Alona also holds a B.B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Management from Baruch College. Much of her free time is spent volunteering, and she dreams of one day organizing an organic garden that will benefit her local community.

Rebecca Casciano is on a mission to inspire beauty from the inside out. A self-taught makeup artist of 12 years, Rebecca has worked with brands such as Revlon and Sebastian, magazines like Elle, Essence and Zink and celebrities such as Mary J. Blige and Martha Stewart. Rebecca has also been a makeup educator for leading makeup schools and salons across the country. Throughout Rebecca's career, she has also been on a personal wellness journey that has deeply influenced her definition of beauty. She struggled with cystic acne for several years, before turning to a holistic approach, which not only helped heal her skin, but transformed her entire lifestyle.Rebecca has now come full-circle, offering green beauty and wellness coaching in addition to her makeup artistry at Yarok Beauty Kitchen. Originally from Flint, Michigan, Christopher was active in the theater during high school and college at the University of Michigan, where he earned a B.A. in Communications and Broadcasting.He is a visionary, creating looks for women that are real, unaffected, beautiful and glowing. His philosophy is one of simple glamour. After more than 10 years as a working makeup artist, Christopher pursued his esthetician license, completing his desire to be a true beauty expert.
His makeup line Christopher Drummond Beauty now available at Yarok Beauty Kitchen is an artisan line of makeup that is made of natural, organic-based, paraben-free and vegan-approved formulas, resulting in cosmetics that are cruelty-free and environmentally responsible. The luxurious products are created by a celebrity makeup artist and skin expert, and are for all skin types, and all skin tones.
As a makeup artist, he has worked with some of the biggest celebrities in the industry: Jennifer Lopez, Kimora Lee Simmons, Brooke Shields, Kerry Washington, Halle Berry, Glenn Close and Jane Fonda, to name a few.

Using YAROK's exclusive hair and scalp serums this 30 minute treatment is activated by an invigorating scalp massage to enhance your circulation and increase the product's penetration. The serum combines a powerful blend of Pure Yarrow and Avocado oils with antioxidants to replenish your scalp - literally sparking hair's youth. This is the perfect partner for hair that has been treated with Keratin.
COLORING
The Organic Color System$125 - $300 and up, 45 - 90 min.

The product is guaranteed to exceed your expectations and give you more lustrous hair and longer lasting results. BLOW OUT STYLING
$75 - $125, 30 min.A good blowout should look uncontrived and work with your facial structure. Our blow out doesn't use sticky styling products so your hair has natural movement versus being pin-straight and limp. With proper maintenance a blowout can last at least three days.
WOMEN'S HAIRCUT
$125 - $300, 60 min.Clients are always given pre-shampoo consultations and are asked questions about how much styling they are interested in doing each day, what kinds of products they currently use, what their hair pet peeves are and then a recommendation on hair shape and style is made. MAN'S HAIR CUT
$75 - $150, 45 min.Face shape, hair texture and lifestyle are taken into account before styling begins.
HAIR UP
$200 - $500, 90 min.An "updo" can be very natural like a swept up messy chignon or slick and sophisticated for red carpet or weddings.
MAKEUP

We say we are "Beyond Mineral Makeup" because we have taken out the drying/ irritating ingredients found in traditional mineral makeup, and replaced them with hydrating, soothing botanicals, plant extracts and healthy ingredients. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time.
Canceling less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
"NO SHOWS" will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
Appointments made within the 24 hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
WEDDING/GROUP OR MULTIPLE BOOKINGSAs a courtesy, we require a two-week cancellation notice. Cancellation not within the required time will result in a cancellation fee of 50% (fifty) of the total services.
